Boarding the Tantive IV

Relive one of the most dramatic opening moments in a galaxy far, far away with Star Wars™ Boarding the Tantive IV (75387). This 502-piece buildable playset recreates the pulse-pounding scene from Star Wars: A New Hope when Darth Vader's Imperial stormtroopers blast their way aboard Princess Leia's Rebel blockade runner. Designed for kids aged 8 and up, as well as adult fans looking to expand their Star Wars collection, this set delivers an action-packed cross-section of the Tantive IV's iconic white corridor, complete with the breached boarding hatch where the First Act of the Skywalker Saga truly begins.

Builders will love piecing together the detailed interior, from the ribbed hallway panels and overhead lighting conduits to the smoking blast-damaged doorway where stormtroopers burst through. The modular corridor opens up for easy access, letting young Jedi stage endless recreations of the Rebel trooper standoff. Pose Darth Vader striding onto the ship, line up the stormtrooper squad behind him, and position the Rebel defenders at the opposite end of the hallway for a showdown worthy of the big screen. Printed and shaped elements add authentic Imperial grit, while the compact footprint means the finished build fits neatly on any shelf or desk.

Featuring a lineup of fan-favorite characters, this set includes Darth Vader with his red lightsaber, two Imperial stormtroopers, and Rebel Fleet Troopers in their distinctive helmets and vests, giving kids and collectors everything they need for immersive roleplay or a striking display piece. The Builder app guides builders through each step with intuitive 3D views and zoom tools, making the construction experience as rewarding as the scene it brings to life.

A perfect gift for Star Wars enthusiasts, birthday celebrations, or holidays, Boarding the Tantive IV is more than just a playset. It's a love letter to the moment that started it all. Whether added to a growing collection of Star Wars dioramas or built as a standalone showpiece, this set captures the tension, drama, and timeless storytelling of a saga that has inspired generations.
