Up-Scaled Red Minifigure

Ready to bring an oversized dose of joy into your home? The Up-Scaled Red Minifigure celebrates the world's most beloved little plastic character by reimagining it at a much grander scale. Instantly recognizable, boldly red from head to toe, and built entirely from bricks, this seasonal showpiece turns a familiar pocket-sized icon into a statement display model that fans of all ages will instantly connect with.

Across 1,245 pieces, the build walks you through the clever techniques needed to capture the minifigure's unmistakable silhouette - the smooth dome of the head, the classic C-shaped hands, the stubby legs and that unmistakable cheerful stance. Smart stud-reversed sections and carefully layered bricks recreate curves you don't usually associate with the system, making each stage of construction feel like a small puzzle solved. The result is a figure that looks simple from across the room but reveals satisfying engineering the closer you get.

Like a true minifigure, this up-scaled version keeps its playful personality intact. The head rotates, the arms move and the overall proportions stay true to the original 1978 design, so you can pose it, photograph it and style it however you like. Set it on a desk at work, perch it on a bookshelf next to your favorite sets, or let it anchor a display of smaller minifigures gathered around their giant red friend.

Designed for builders aged 10 and up, the Up-Scaled Red Minifigure (40868) makes a thoughtful seasonal gift for longtime collectors, nostalgic adult fans and anyone who has ever smiled at a minifigure. It's a relaxing build, a cheerful piece of brick-built art and a love letter to the little character that started it all - now impossible to miss.
