E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial

Ready to relive one of cinema's most heartwarming adventures? The Ideas E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial (21370) building set invites fans of Steven Spielberg's beloved 1982 masterpiece to recreate the magical bond between a lonely boy and his otherworldly friend. Designed for adult builders and nostalgic movie lovers aged 10+, this 830-piece tribute captures the wonder, whimsy and emotional depth that made E.T. an unforgettable part of pop culture history.

Every brick in this Ideas set has been thoughtfully placed to honor the film's most iconic moments. Build E.T. himself with his distinctive wrinkled brown body, extendable neck and the glowing heart-light that pulses at the center of his chest. Pair him with Elliott's famous red BMX bicycle, ready for that unforgettable flight across the moon. The scene-setting base brings the suburban California setting to life with a wooden fence, forest foliage and a dramatic full moon backdrop that lets you pose the bike mid-flight for a truly cinematic display piece.

The attention to detail makes this build a joy for collectors. Discover charming Easter eggs scattered throughout the model: a trail of Reese's Pieces candies, a potted flower that mirrors E.T.'s emotional state, a makeshift Speak & Spell communicator, and even a closet hiding spot inspired by the film. Two detailed minifigures of Elliott in his classic red hooded sweatshirt and his little sister Gertie accompany the posable E.T. figure, letting you stage your favorite scenes from the movie.

Whether you're a devoted fan of Spielberg classics, a lover of 1980s nostalgia, or someone searching for a meaningful gift for the movie buff in your life, this Ideas creation delivers a rewarding, multi-session build and a stunning finished display. Place it on your desk, bookshelf or home cinema wall and let E.T. remind everyone who sees it that friendship truly can be out of this world. A perfect centerpiece for any Ideas collection and a heartfelt tribute to a film that continues to touch new generations more than four decades after its release.
